I've heard a lot of CB Handles over the years and each one usually has a story that goes with it.Let us know what your handle is and how you got it. Mine was easy, my father used to call me and my two brothers the Rat Pack because the first three letters of my last name are "RAT" and every family meeting was the meeting of the "RAT PACK". Well, one day my wife came home with a cb radio from a yard sale, it was a KRACO 23 channel mobile.I remembered what a good time it used to be when my father used to talk on his back in the early seventies. His handle was "Wounded Knee".There used to be a ton of people on the radio back then and we used to have huge "coffee breaks".Where everybody would get together and have cookouts, softball games and every antenna install was an excuse for a party. In fact most of my babysitters were people from the radio so I had some very fond memories from that era.So ,when my wife came home with this radio, still in the plastic!!!I decided she was going in the truck and that was it!!!I have met a lot of very cool people on the radio and even though it isn't what it used to be it's still a lot of fun.You just have to ignore some of the A$$holes that pop up from time to time.Aaaaaaaaaaaahem................(Crazy Dorks) OK so back to the handle thing.I spend a lot of time on the river, fly fishing. So my wife ,as a joke started calling me River Rat,and as most things that start out as a joke,it stuck.I never liked the handle by the way I would always cring when someone would say,"how 'bout it River Rat". My wife's handle,"Coon Doggy" also started out as a joke because some friends of mine were picking on her because she had a coon dog when she was little. You can believe that if I had been able to choose my own handle it would have been something much cooler but it is what it is.Here we go, the River Rat & Coon Doggy back out!!!!!

I used to be called Midnight Rider, but someone said they had that handle already. So one night while pondering what to use as a handle, I happen to look up and saw a Vette drive by and said to myself, "That's a Stingray". Now you know the rest of the story.......

I went with CrazyTrain 'cause it happened to be the song that was playing when I made my first CB contact using an old Realistic "emergency" handheld... wow that seems like forever ago. I was talking to an old ch29 regular called Renagade.

I have one of these emergency radios in my truck. The same exact one pictured above. It actually works well....gave Webster 6 lbs from Putnam using my Wilson 1000.
